Avanos Vocational School Of Fine Arts

Crop and Animal Production Department of Avanos Vocational School organized a technical trip to the students within the scope of Harran University and 7th Food, Agriculture and Livestock Fair in Şanlıurfa.

Our students learned about smart farming practices and the latest technologies from companies and company representatives operating in the agricultural sector in domestic and abroad in 7th Food, Agriculture and Livestock Fair.

In addition to receiving theoretical training within the scope of their programs, students have gained an efficient technical trip experience in terms of their involvement in field studies, in terms of their interaction with school-industry collaboration, as well as their new technologies and interaction.

We would like to express our thanks to;

-Hüseyin KORKMAZ (the owner of the Korkmaz Süt Factory) for providing access to the factory,

-Hızır GÜNAYDIN for giving information about all production stages of cheese and ayran,

-Research Assistant Mehmet İlhan ODABAŞIOĞLU and PhD student Meral AKDOĞAN for
informing us about crop production areas and greenhouses at Harran University Faculty of Agriculture,

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer KORKMAZ and Asst. Prof. Dr. Member Ünal Yavuz for giving us the necessary technical information by touring the animal health unit, the areas where cows and sheep grow, and the greenhouses.
